| Idées de France |

This media (http://www.ideesdefrance.fr) is designed for everyone who is interested in current debates going on in France. Idées de France proposes three services to internet users which can be summarized as “understand-participate-inform.”
- Understand: A synthesis of the major debates is presented (in several languages). When possible, we will provide direct access to the key personalities in the debate - the thinkers and the analysts. We will also point you to the pertinent research centres and media debates on the subject. Our editorial position is simple: we aim to promote the diversity of analyses, opinions, and arguments about each debate.
- Participate: Our goal is to provide an efficient media tool that can be used by the international community. We aim to encourage live dialogue between the international community, the French community, and major French thinkers. With this goal, we organise regular live chats, publish blogs, and launch public forums that allow website users to participate in the debates.
- Inform: The Ideas Diary is a database of the latest news about personalities and institutions from the French world of ideas. You can search by field, medium, or person. The Ideas Diary also presents an innovative tool that measures the media coverage of French personalities in the non-French-speaking world.
Idées de France is a new type of website that aims to present the profound analysis and interactive nature that you find on major media websites with the speed and efficiency of a purely news-based website
Idées de France is a subsidiary of Canal France International (CFI). CFI is a subsidiary of ARTE-France and France Televisions.

| Francophonie New York |

New York finally joins other American cities such as Washington, DC and Atlanta, in the celebration of the French-speaking world – La Francophonie. In March 2005, New York launched "Around the French-Speaking World", the first festival of French-speaking cultures in New York. In the spirit of Jules Verne, New York explored its French-speaking communities in a sort of "around the world in 31 days"! This festival enabled the inhabitants of New York -- French-speaking, Francophiles or simply the curious -- to discover or rediscover the Francophone cultures of the city.
Each month, Receive the "Francophonie" Newsletter and discover the Francophone Events in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut! To register just send your email address to newsletter@francophonieny.org.
